Resource Link Foundation in collaboration with SEND Ghana in partnership with the European Union and UNICEF conducted a data collection to aid the development of the CSO’s Social Protection Mirror report. The “Mirror Report” is a complementary report to the official government report on social protection delivery. The report will be used to track the performance of social protection initiatives and share information on initiatives that have been introduced and how they have been received by the citizenry and intended beneficiaries

The data was collected in 10 districts in 10 regions in Ghana. Resource Link Foundation conducted focus group discussions with selected beneficiaries from two communities in the Wenchi Municipal Assembly on the Ghana School Feeding Program and the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty Program. The exercise took place in October and December 2021.

Two schools were selected from to partake in the focus group discussion as well as LEAP beneficiaries from two communities. Amponsahkrom and Droboso were the two selected communities for the intervention. With the help of the District LEAP officer, 20 LEAP beneficiaries were identified and selected from each of the two communities to participate in the focus group discussions. Ten females as well as ten men were selected from each community.

Twenty students each from the Droboso Methodist School and Amposahkrom D/A primary A&B were selected to participate in the School Feeding focus group discussion.
