  • Formation and organization of Zonal,Urban, Town Area and Councils(ZUTA) forums in Tain, Wenchi,Techiman and Nkoranza North Districts and Municipalities as well as for media networks.
  • Capacity building of Citizen groups on tools and mechanisms of Social Accountability as part of the SPEFA project
  • Capacity building of Citizen groups, media and traditional authorities on harmful tax practices
  • Capacity building of Citizen groups on public financial management template (PFM) as part of the SPEFA project
  • Formation of Social Public Financial Accountability (SPEFA) networks in the two municipalities
  • Collaborated with the Wenchi Municipal and Banda District Assemblies in the provision of rain water harvesting and sanitary facilities, school desks, foot wears and exercise books for marginalized public basic schools.
  • Capacity of 240 SPEFA members in two municipalities built in Public Financial Management (PFM) template and Social Accountability Tools.
  • Trained eight (8) CBOs on SPEFA in social Accountability
  • Two municipalities now display their revenue performances in the Assembly’s public notices
  • The Beneficiary Assemblies readily shares information with SPEFA members and the general public
  • Citizens, especially SPEFA members demand accountability from an informed perspective
  • The usual accusation of Assembly staff about corruption and mismanagement of public funds has given way for dialogue and friendly discourse
  • Assemblies now involve SPEFA members in key deliberations of the Assemblies activities like fee fixing resolution
  • A common platform,  periodic town hall meetings are organize to afford citizens opportunity to demand accountability based on the information and lessons learnt in the SPEFA forums.

With these projects implemented over the years, Resource Link Foundation has built excellent core competencies with demonstrable capacity especially in Social Accountability through training by SNV and the Coalition of NGOs in health as well as Local Governance Network (LoGNet) to facilitate any participatory approach to community based development
