Brong Ahafo Region- Office at Wenchi:

Most of Resource Link Foundation’s work especially in education and governance has been in close collaboration with District Assemblies as well as substructures of the local government system. During the Implementation of the Independent Civil Society Monitoring and Evaluation of the Ghana School Feeding Programme, RLF worked with Zonal, Urban, Town and Area Councils (ZUTA) as well as District Assemblies through the organization of ZUTA forums. Local governance structures in the implementation of the Ghana school feeding programmes in fifty communities in four districts had training on social accountability.

The Resource Link Foundation hosts zonal level LOGNet in Ashanti and Brong Ahafo, whose membership benefited from local capacity traits in Governance projects, built the capacity of these institutions by using Social Accountability Tools like Citizens and Community Score Cards to monitor and evaluate the efficient implementation of the Ghana School Feeding Programme as well as to demand accountability from caterers and District Assembly staff.

RLF is currently working with two Municipalities namely Wenchi and Techiman Municipal Assemblies on Social Accountability Project. The project works closely with the Assemblies to build the capacity of the Citizen groups to demand accountability from the Assemblies in the utilization of public resources. On the Tax Justice Campaign RLF worked with the Techiman and  Wenchi Municipal Assemblies as well as the Tain and Banda District Assemblies.

CSOs/CBOs in the districts including Nafaanra Literacy and development project, Banda Ahenkro Widowhood Association, Nafaanra women in livelihoods development programmes, worked in collaboration with Resource Link Foundation in Governance and school improvement, water and  sanitation programmes etc.

In Wenchi, Techiman and Nkoransa North RLF works together with local CBOs like Copio and Association of African Women in Development , FASCO, the Brong Ahafo women and development foundation and other stakeholders on Social public expenditure and Financial  Accountability , HIV/AIDS and Malaria, sexual Reproductive education. Ghana school feeding and monitoring programmes.

Resource Link Foundation with CDD has also undertaken monitoring programme on the involvement of the citizens in the medium Term development plans-2014.
