On October 11, 2018, Resource Link Foundation Ghana hosted the Celebration of 2018 International Day of the Girl-Child in the Banda Brong-Ahafo regional chapter in partnership with Action Aid Ghana.  The event included a campaign to end child marriage.

Attendees included Brong Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council, Banda District Assembly, Banda Traditional Council, Ghana Education Service, Department of Gender and Education Unit, Action Aid Ghana, Resource Link Foundation, Girls Not brides Ghana partnership and UK, and the Media.  Traditional Authorities included the Queen Mothers on child marriage and FGM agenda.
